Zihan is interested in policymaking, particularly in the application of quantitative methods for optimisation. He is also intrigued by the ethical and political issues behind environmental and developmental economics. He enjoys debating and bodybuilding.

As a prospective PPE student, Sean is passionate about trade and how it is weaponised by states to achieve political goals.  Additionally, he is deeply interested in the meteoric rise of artificial intelligence and its societal implications.  Sean also manages Eton and Holyport’s Investment Club portfolio, and is an avid debater and martial artist.

Monty is very interested in sports and their influence on economics, finance and politics. Standing at 6 4, Monty has a different viewpoint that he uses to provide unique and cultured opinions on things he is fascinated in, such as Asian economics or developments in financial markets.
Thomas is particularly interested in economic history and why global supply chain structures have evolved as they have. His primary interest and research focus is spatial inequality. Thomas is also house captain, leads the school’s Law Society and is keeper of the Eton College RAF.

Lucas is studying Economics alongside Maths, Physics and Chinese for his A Levels. He is very interested in China and sports, particularly American football. Outside of the classroom, he spends most of his time rowing at Dorney Lake, and he is hoping to go to an Ivy League university to study business and Chinese alongside rowing on a university lightweight team.
